The pioneer students of the college numbering 30, set foot on its soil on February 22nd 1958 to form one stream. The population of the students grew with each passing year; by 1965 it became two streams with the admission of 79 students. In the Late 70s precisely 1976 3 streams were approved and the admission that year rose to 113 students. Today we still operate the 3 streams A B C covering the: Science and Mathematics, Humanities, Business Education and all are also subjected to Technology training in computer, data processing and woodwork. Saint Joseph’s College or CSJ (College of Saint Joseph) as it is popularly called has in its 61 years of existence graduated over 6,000 students.
We are situated at the outskirts of Jos, Vom, known as Kaduna-Vom or Vom Veterinary near the National Institute of Veterinary Research Vom.

Vom Old Boys Association (VOBA) was founded in the year 1963, it had its first convention in 1969 and Inaugurated in 1971. The Association has been very vibrant, adding value to both administration of the college, structures and welfare of the students. Today, Members of the VOBA are leaders and icons all over the world.
